Where to get rid of paint, paint cans etc in Carlow

Hi all Looking for help on where to dispose of paint and paint tins etc, I know I can't dump them in skip or bin so where do they go? Any idea?

interesting when I was down there I was told they went to landfill unless it was a varnish or certain types of paints. Worth ringing them before you go down there to see if you can dump the in your bin. Very little of what I took down was suitable for recycling and it was just ordinary household pain
