Your claim - is only an opinion but in the scheme of things and this discussion we need fact ,
But for whatever reason your confusing your opinion as actual fact

They were all issued with deportation orders. They’re not here. Ergo, they left.

They were deported. It’s not a voluntary arrangement. Some enforced, most not, but they left.

Failed asylum seeker gets €7,500 over 26 days unlawful detention

More of the compo culture by the way. You know its bad when failed asylum seekers are getting compensation.

A singular deported asylum seeker re-entering the country, and arrested for it.

So - issued with deportation order - check, left country - check, caught and arrested entering the country - check.

They were all deported. Some required enforcement of that deportation.

Im quoting the minister (the guy who oversees the system). He says he doesnt know, but believes a significant number are gone.
I'm making no claim as to the number remaining, only its logical to surmise, based on the ministers claim, informed by his mandarins and intel, they're not all gone.

    You though....
    Just spoofing.

You’re making a claim as to failed asylum seekers remaining here - the number isn’t an issue - where’s the evidence of any?

It’s not a fact at all. They were all deported.

Undocumented migrants are not failed asylum seekers. You’ve one instance of a deported failed asylum seeker caught re-entering the state, so he had clearly left the country. And he was arrested.

It doesn't matter if he left or not. He was here which met the criteria of your question.

You asked for evidence of failed asylum seekers. We found one.

Looking forward to seeing how you move the goalposts.

No. You've trying tonput your cart before your horse, but unfortunately it has bolted long ago.

You claimed they were all gone.
You've offered nothing other than childish nonsense to support this claim.
Ive offered that based on the experts its logical to assume some remain.

For some unfathomable reason you seem to think our respective positions have equal merit...

You should really delete your account at this stage. Its beyond embarrassing.

Seriously. Are you learning anything from your ongoing humiliation?

Strangely enough all of the list of deported were deported. It’s quite the head-scratcher.

    But deported v left voluntarily...
(after having failed in their claim)
    1800 odd were deported
The rest (you claim) were deported.
Which is it? Which list are you referring to?

Any road, theyre all gone you say
Is English not your first language?

All i hear is white noise
    You've truly nothing.
I can only surmise you're hoping to have the thread shut to spare your blushes.

Your pants have been pulled down , and you've recieved a right good spanking. And been repeatedly brought to the woodshed for thrashings.
At this stage, you're like someone, naked in the stocks, an object of ridicule for the village kids. All thats left is to fling a rotten cabbage before putting you in a gibbet to rot.

I'll find it when I get a chance you're quick off the blocks with your "link" there

You're a little slower off the blocks. Six hours since your post and still awaiting the link.

If you actually bothered to read what people wrote, instead of entertaining your imagination, you’d have seen that I said I had no problem with more asylum seekers in Dublin.

Same here, would welcome more in Galway, city or county. But preferably city. More centres and assessors would hopefully speed up the process.

Nobody with a deportation order left voluntarily. They were obliged to.

Nope. We are talking specifically about DPCs. Very large centres accommodating asylum seekers.

Not a dispersal throughout a city with a population 5 times that of county Dublin.

Large DPCS for Dublin specifically. Starting in leafy areas like Dun Laoighre, Killiney, D4 or Dalkey. One in the vicinity of Sorento Terrace would be an ideal start.

Dublin is sixteen times larger than Galway, not five. The DPC here is running without incident and I’d be happy to welcome another.

They were all deported, and 1800 had their deportation enforced. Not opinion, a fact illustrated with the numbers.

Im not too sure you know how this works

It’s quite simple. People with right-wing agendas make up stuff and then gullible people unquestioningly swallow it all.

This town as I've already said does not have a Garda station, doesn't have school spaces, doesn't have a footpath to the dpc from the town, doesn't have much public transport, doesn't have much employment opportunities.

I didn't ask you about Lisdoonvarna.

I asked you if you think it's fair to the locals to majorly alter the demographics of the area overnight?

Surely these things should be done gradually.

26km from the largest police station in Connacht. With routine patrols.

    Footpath easily built.

    Schools will get grants.

Fourteen buses daily each way from Oughterard to Galway.

Post-assessment there’s plenty of employment in Galway. Oughterard, like Moycullen, is effectively a commuter town.
