Undocumented are basically failed asylum seekers, except in most cases, they couldn't be bothered going through the asylum process because they know full well they have no case.

Undocumented migrants are not failed asylum seekers. You’ve one instance of a deported failed asylum seeker caught re-entering the state, so he had clearly left the country. And he was arrested.

Im quoting the minister (the guy who oversees the system). He says he doesnt know, but believes a significant number are gone.
I'm making no claim as to the number remaining, only its logical to surmise, based on the ministers claim, informed by his mandarins and intel, they're not all gone.

Nobody with a deportation order left voluntarily. They were obliged to.
