+ 1 for Fear City. Would make a great movie. I dunno how the lad with the torch can walk with balls that big.

Thanks for the heads up! Enjoyed that film at the pictures. Not a mind blowing film, but a nice exploration of how we domesticated dogs.

I watched that the other day too, it's utterly dreadful. Proper 2/10 stuff.

 No she's not - Maja Schone plays Hannah and is 100% German!

The conception of the slenderman movie is very funny to me, the character was a somewhat viral trend back in like 2013 and they tried to capitalise on it.....by releasing a movie 5 years later when nobody knew what tf they were talking about :pac:

Pretty sure Sarah Greene is practically the only woman in Black 47 too.

There's a girl at the inn, Stephen Rea puts down Broadbent's character when he comments on her, can't remember if she has any dialogue

Young Hannah. Ella Lee is her name. Seems to be half German/Irish.

You're mixing up Ella Lee and Ella Grace Lee, they seem to be two different people.

But does seem they're both Irish

    operation Odessa
its a documentary with an absolutely crazy story line
A Russian mobster, a Cuban spy and a smooth operator from Miami
scheme to sell a Soviet submarine to a Colombian drug cartel for $35 million

Based on the agency profile and instagram page for the Ella Lee who was in Dark, she was born in Cork but has German nationality and lives in Berlin (but apparently knows Irish dancing ???).

    Ghost wars

Absolutely terrible title, what were they thinking?

But is in fact very good sci-fi series

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,639 ✭✭✭completedit

Let's not fight over it. Just cool to see someone Irish out of the anglo speaking world. Thought it was cool.

Watched Inside Man yesterday and Old Boy this afternoon. Both directed by Spike Lee but that’s where the similarities end. Old Boy was fvcked up brilliant!

Read that as "Bad Boys" initally and got very confused!

The Oldboy remake is Spike Lee

The Old Guard is terrible. Can't believe "the last word" recommended it as a summer blockbuster.

BlackKKlansmann is a lot of fun, great film and really enjoyable - the dedication at the end was a bit of a suckerpunch to the gut, hit home that despite the comical tones of the film there was a message underneath it

Since it's leaving Netflix on Tuesday, I decided to watch Dunkirk. I think I put it off as I thought it was a long film. Turns out i's only about 100 mins.

But was just going to say, is it me or is "Continue Watching" getting more annoying to find? Be great if they just kept it at the top row.
"Continue Watching" the "my List" then everything else.

They're still really pushing Cursed. All these notifications they keep doing get annoying as well. "Hey! You added Cursed to your list 5 seconds ago. Why haven't you watched it yet?" "You stopped watching a series to go to bed. Don't forget you still have the rest to watch!"

I found the ending very awkward in the cinema. Like the silence was unbearable.
