Watched the first episode of the second series of unsolved mysteries and I’d never heard of this story at the time but yeah its how he got into the dumpster and by who’s hand he got there that is the big question. They seem to not have worked out how the guys house got the way it did prior to his death.

Lot more details needed but it seems he just lost his mind. Possibly ran into the wrong crowd then.

Can't believe it's season 5 already and not sure it should have been extended beyond season 2 but all the same I'll probably binge watch this over the weekend.

It seems at the end he did yeah because when we see him on the camera looking for his car and in the basement of that building he’s clearly confused and disorientated.

I remember the story at the time.
I honestly don't think there much mystery to it, the man had serious mental health issues etc, really sad.
I'd say he climbed into it, or was put there after a hit and run maybe? He was behaving erratically and dressed all in black.

The second one I thought was much more interesting to be honest (woman in hotel room in oslo)

Well there’s a mystery in that there’s a gap in his movements and the autopsy the injuries weren’t from just climbing into the dumpster.

I only watched the first episode. I’m all for interesting episodes. I didn’t really get into the one from the first season about the alien abduction stuff..

He was found in the dump so I would say he could have been compacted or something similar? It is a pretty heart breaking case.

That alien abduction one was awful

Ep 4 in S2 about the ghosts of the Tsunami is also awful bar the opening ten minutes detailing the Tsunami itself.

I'd almost say it's worse than the alien abduction episode.

Don't see the point of this when its quite easy to find the Hitchcock version which is a masterpiece.

Well the episode was well made like the other were it was just the topic can very easily fall into far fetched territory. I’m not saying the people interviewed didn’t believe what happened to them actually happened, it’s just it’s kind of hard to prove unlike missing people or that stuff where there is something real to anchor the whole story. Those type of stories are unexplained not unsolved.

Tsunami ? Ah jaysus that Japanese tsunami was horrible with that helicopter shot of the water rolling over the fields. I might give that a skip.

I thought he second episode of unsolved mysterious was really strange, I think someone in the hotel knows something cause the fact she was allowed check in without the usual protocols being meet and also the guard going back downstairs after hearing the gun shut and no one going back up there again for 15 minutes, WTF is that about? Definitely government intelligence involved.

Found Rebecca to be a very good film for not being my usual genre. Maybe a little long winded and lost after the first half, could have cut 20 minutes out of it or so.

    Solid 8/10 for me.

American Hangman starring Donald Sutherland is another good movie.

I liked the little Easter egg from the movie Saw.
