I don't mind auto playing trailers usually. I do mind when they decide be for later seasons. Like watching Snowpiercer at the moment and on episode 8. But the trailer that starts playing when highlighted
seems to be from season 2 with the first shot and dialogue giving away what happens, likely as the cliffhanger from the season 1 finale.
Even the image used shows the season 2 cast.

Surely the autoplaying trailers should be trying to get people to start the series.

Adu is a very moving little film about the Africa - Europe situation. 3 vignettes inter twined, sad and makes you think about the struggles we all have in our various lives & the worse struggles others have.. worth a watch lovely music and photography too

    80s nostalgic fest too .
Great family movie . Very highly recommended
    Missed this post.

Just watched it on Channel 4. So should be on Film 4 soon.

Netflix films fall into a few categories. Most of the older ones I would watch I've already seen. There's a lot of filler. Lots. ( is there any handy list of Netflix offerings and IMDB ratings ? ) And films that show up around the same time as TV.

And unlike a recording you don't know when they'll be removed.

    Watched The Vanishing tonight.

I recommend nobody else put themselves through it. The absolute worst thing I've ever watched on Netflix, there are no words to describe just how awful it is.

To those watching Parks and Recreation for the first time? There's an argument that you could start at season 2. The first season is only 6 episodes admittedly but it's so mediocre to bad, and a blatant Office clone, that it may put people off. Maybe the pilot to get an idea of who the characters are but from season 2 on, the show does it's own thing and brilliantly. My crush on Rashida Jones also started with this lol

    The White Tiger

Thought it was really excellebt. I liked how it touched on unsettling themes in a comic way. Abject poverty, true visceral ne quality and serfdom are not exactly nice topics but the film was cool in that it represented them as things in the world of mid 2000 India as opposed to the only things. The psychological conditioning of the role society compelled him to fulfill was unsettling to watch. His geneflection towards his superiors and disdain for those below him.
Looks like a wretched place by all accounts. Capitalism and globalism will be it's saving grace.

Was very disappointed over the weekend when I wanted to watch True Romance and found it had been deleted. One of my favourite movies and I had only seen it on Netflix a few months ago but delayed rewatching it. Similar situation with Edward Norton's Primal Fear. Definitely there about 6 months ago.

Delighted to see Easy Ryder on Netflix and whole not a great movie, the Soundtrack and Jack Nicholson makes it a classic.

I watched The Dig tonight. I love Carey Mulligan and will watch anything she does, but I wasn't expecting too much from this, to be honest.
But I was pleasntly surprised by how engaging it is and it's very moving too. It's beautifully shot and a very pleasant way to spend a couple of hours.

That's a very generous review. I thought it was terrible. 0/10.

There is actually more to it than that as the episodes go on. It's very soap opera and while it zips through the story in its 4 episodes and passes the time, I don't know if I could recommend it. If you like mini series like 'The Stranger' you'll like it.

I second that emotion! I had heard so much about it and I was like "what the hell is this rubbish" but I said I'd go on to S2 and never looked back!

I would also say, though, that I didn't like the last 3-4 episodes of the final season AT ALL.
