I finished S2 of Sex Education tonight and overall I'm not sure I liked it as much as S1. I appreciate them exploring some of last years "supporting" characters and also the introduction of some new ones, but it kind of made a lot of the series feel a bit disjointed. It does come together brilliantly in the last 3 or 4 episodes though.

Gonna be hard to follow up such a great first season. I think they did it justice. I really hope it gets a third. It made a mark in between all the terrible TV.

3rd has already been confirmed :)

I think it was the character dynamics of the 1st series that I found were lacking a little in S2. Maeve was on her own for a lot of it, and Otis and Eric didn't share as many scenes either, but obviously they couldn't just repeat S1 either so I can't fault it for that really. I thought they could have done more with Maeve's mum too, especially when they went and cast Anne Marie Duff to play her! Still one of the best things Netflix have done.

Love is Blind is strangely addictive. Netflix trained us to binge watch box sets, I hate this release in batches of episodes lark!

It's the absolute drizzling sh1ts, possibly the worst show I've ever watched. Yet, I've watched the whole thing and can't wait to see the next episode on Thursday.

was doing the usual sunday night search for a movie - usual criteria - it can't be too long, said we'd give a film called 'No Escape' a whirl.

stars Owen Wilson and Pierce Brosnan, about an american chap who moves his family to start an new job in an Asian country bordering Vietnam.
The morning after they arrive, there is a political uprising and they find themselves in the middle of it. I had low expectations, but its actually quite harrowing (probably emphasized by the fact I have 2 kids the same age as the girls in the film). doesn't outstay its welcome just over an hour and a half.

Oh man guilty as charged - binged it over the weekend as was sick and I don't know why I kept watching it - so annoying alot of it and I was sucked in for whatever reason. some of the women are tough work and worse when the wine hits LOL - … I left out a FFS moment when I saw last episode not up till 27th - in suspense to see what couples are not going to go ahead with it !

The Stranger is up there with the dumbest TV series I've ever seen. The acting was almost as bad as the writing.

Just plain awful and a reminder of why I prefer films.

Agreed, if it was RTE/ITV there wouldn't even be a review for it, really disappointing to hear the buzz out there on recommendation lists for it.

I could take a little bit of plot stretching or some minor stuff, but in combination with the acting....nope!
