Watched the new series of White Gold. It’s as good as the first season. It’s a comedy about 1980s double glazing windows salesmen. Jay and Simon from Inbetweeners are in it.

Star of the show is Vincent. Think Del Boy, but if he was a Cnut. He is so despicable you can’t help but love him. I really recommend it, if you like 80s crass humour and rooting for an anti-hero.

I was happy to see the studio Ghibli films finally available for streaming. Watched princess mononoke last night. It was the first time in a long time that I was hooked in the first minute from a film.

Amazing and way ahead of it's time with strong female roles and antagonists with what you would see as understandable motives.

White Gold is fantastic, thought the 2nd season was even better. Your one, the opposition sales lady, looks so ridiculously like Cheryl Cole I thought it was here.

    A Quiet Place
John Krasinski’s terrifyingly taut survival thriller is so good you’ll be shouting about it for weeks.

    Elite: Season 3
Netflix’s series, written by Carlos Montero (The Time in Between) and Darío Madrona (Génesis), takes place in Las Encinas, the best and most exclusive school in Spain, where the elite send their children to study. It’s also where three working class kids have just been admitted after their academy was collapsed and the local council divvied up the students between other schools in the area. They thought that they’d lucked out, but maybe they weren’t so lucky after all – because by the end of Season 1, a dead body had turned up and a suspect had been found. Season 2 saw the class grow in size, with the addition of several new faces. Now, with the first two seasons’ murder plot wrapped up, the ripples of what was found out continue to spread.

    Kingdom: Season 2
An epidemic turns Joseon into hell on earth amid the ravages left by the ever-growing greed of the Cho family. In Kingdom Season 2, Crown Prince Lee Chang continues his desperate, bloody struggle, with no one he can trust to help him.

    Go Karts
From Top Gear director Owen Trevor and Paper Planes screenwriter Steve Worland, this Australian family film follows 15-year-old Jack, who, when his mother moves them to a new town, discovers go kart racing and dedicates himself to the sport. With the support of an old race-car driver with a secret past, and his new best friends, Jack must learn to control his recklessness to win the national title.

    Lost Girls
The narrative debut of two-time Oscar nominee Liz Garbus follows Mari Gilbert, as she relentlessly drives law enforcement agents to search for her missing daughter and in the process sheds light on a wave of unsolved murders on the South Shore barrier islands of Long Island. Inspired by true events, it stars Amy Ryan, Gabriel Byrne and Lola Kirke.

    100 Humans
One hundred hardy souls from diverse backgrounds participate in playful experiments exploring age, sex, happiness and other aspects of being human.

    BEASTARS
In a world where beasts of all kinds coexist, a gentle wolf awakens to his own predatory urges as his school deals with a murder within its midst.

    Bloodride(norweigan)
The doomed passengers aboard a spectral bus head toward a gruesome, unknown destination in this deliciously macabre horror anthology series.

    Justine
A widowed, single mom takes a job caring for a young girl with spina bifida, and the two discover they have more in common than they realized.

    Salt
Accused of being a Russian spy, CIA agent Evelyn Salt goes on the run, using every tactic she knows to elude her pursuers and clear her name

    Thoroughbreds
Rich teens Lily and Amanda rekindle a friendship and discover a common passion: They both hate Lily's despicable stepfather. A killer plan is born.

Watched blockers a couple of nights ago. Parents trying to stop their daughters getting up to mischief on their prom. John Cena (i think) stars. Fairly good but ran out of steam towards the end. Entertaining and a good watch. Some very funny bits but better similar movies.

Watched this a few weeks ago, it's really good. Darkly funny in places and very stylish. I loved it.

I stuck with this as they were short episodes & not many of them so not much of an investment. It was worth it for the season finale.

You are in for a treat. Even better than the hilarious first series. Characters all put. In hilarious performances and no weak links. So many twists and turns and don’t know who to root for.

I’ve been watching Delhi Crime, 7 part drama based on a true story about the police investigation into the 2012 gang rape on a bus.
    Really enjoying it

    Interesting ending there
Alucard impaling the brother and sister outside his door was pretty ****ed up.

Loved Lenore as well, I was not expecting that level of evil.

Finished it yesterday, a wonderful turn of direction with Alucard -
was hoping Vlad Teppic would come through the portal, I'd love to see him revenge himself on Carmilla
but I can see why they decided to leave that story to end as it did

For something that started as a four episode water tester this has grown legs superbly and I'm looking forward to the next season already

Any recommendations please for a new TV series on Netflix.

Have watched the Wire, Breaking bad, Narcos, Making a Murderer.

Something along those lines would be great if any suggestions.

Really liked Top Boy. It is considered the U.K. version of the Wire. Set in flats in inner city London it’s about a drugs gang.

There are three seasons of it. The most recent on3 is much higher quality due to huge budget. I think it’s class and fits into your chosen genre. I watched the third season before the other two and didn’t affect understanding. I didn’t know how people were connected to each other and certain backstories but don’t think it made a difference.

Don’t Fcuk with cats is a three part Real life documentary of how a person went from harming animals on the web to murdering someone and how they were eventually tracked down. Thought it was amazing.

It gets worse, I enjoyed the early seasons, the end one's, not a lot.

Oh well, give me an easy life and a peaceful death.
