As per chance I have these components:
    CPU: XEON E5-2630 V4 (*6)
DIMM: Samsung 16GB DDR4-2133 LP ECC REG RAM Server Memory (*20)

    Monitor : not needed
    Storage: not needed
    OS : need Win 10
Graphics card : needed (light gaming;video/photo editing;watch Sat TV(have Tevii card))

Note: I believe the CPU is not the ES (Eng sample) one
Please suggest a build for me
Budget : as cheap as possible

On the flip side I could sell the components (but where ?) and buy/build with the proceeds. Or would someone here be interested in the parts ?! (let me know)

Problem with your Xeon is it's LGA 2011-3 socket / X99 chipset, and those boards are expensive again.
Unless you're OK with buying a weird OEM motherboard from China, you're looking at €220+ for mobo.

Also why do you have (*6) / (*20) besides the parts - you saying you got ahold of 6 CPUs & 20 RAM modules?

Yeah I thought the MB would be the issue alright.
Parts, long story, 4 blade server that's being lying around in our lab, de-commissioned, but salvaging parts.

Those 2630v4s are meant to work in pairs, just saying ;)

EDIT: If I were interested, how much for 2x of your 6x 2630s?

you could offload the ram in CeX for €29 a pop

Cheers Skerries, but do CEX take ECC memory?

that I don't know, they may not even know the difference

I doubt CEX would take it as it would be harder to resell.
Your best bet would be adverts or ebay.

    Update :
I eventually got around to try something, worth the punt I suppose.
I got a cheap chinese X99 MB and got the other parts I needed.
    All working well atm !

System is : Xeon 10core(20 logical), 64GB mem, 8GB video card.
Still messing with it, still want to try out the on-board NVMe slot / test out a bit of gaming (for my young lad). I got the minimalist looking NZXT H510 ATX Mid Tower Case and it was very easy to work with & loads of room for expansion, maybe a dual-CPU MB in the future ;)
Note: the cheap MB is an odd size, 280mm * 220mm so I needed to improvise (rubber spacer) on the bottom RHS to stabilize the PCB.
I ran Fritz14 with Rybka engine @ 20cpus to burn it in, & it stays cool.

Because I had access to certain parts, the overall build cost me ~ €400.
If you had to go out & buy the parts its would cost ~ €1600.
