That's restored my faith in humanity somewhat.

Was beginning to think I was going mad.

In better news, Aiken told that press conferenc today that he does not intend this year to be the last of the LATM series and that he's in talks with City Hall about a new site.

Not sure where would suit but would have been easy for him to come along and say "yeah we tried but there's nothing out there."

At least this suggests it might be financially viable to keep it going and that he'll try find somewhere else. Maybe a little closer to the city would be nice!!

Theres a handy little vacant site on South Main Street that they could use!

They seem to be catering for a more ahem mature audience like myself, at least six of those I'd happily go to.

I wonder is the thinking they can't compete with independent park etc, so fill it with us oldies lol

Deadmau5 and Orbital? Looks like it'll be my first trip to the Marquee (after how many years!)

Great mix of gigs in Cork this year -

You could have a cracking run of Fontaines DC, Sinead O'Connor, the National, Pet Shop Boys, Orbital, Chemical Brothers, Cat Stevens, John Grant, Weyes Blood and Kate Tempest if you want to run between LATM, Independent Park, St Lukes and Cork Midsummer.

Been a long time since I've seen that many shoes that would pique my own interests in Cork in a three month spell.
