    Next Up

    13th Place - Boyzone - Melting Pot

The best thing about this is that the artist isn't singing that much

The lady on this song is an awesome singer and I found myself singing along to it, what can I say its catchy

Quite like that Tupac one. I know next to nothing about rap, that's a lot more jaunty than I'd have imagined :)

11th Place - Faith No More - Epic

Heard of these, heard the song, didn't realise thats who sang that

So I would have said I didn't know any Faith no more songs but turns out I do, liked this, good solid rock tune, remind me of rage against the machine

14th Place - Bon Jovi - Lay your hands on me

I think there must be better songs on this album?

I remember liking Bon Jovi but this didn't really do it for me

I was never one for buying a lot of albums. Mostly borrowed siblings/friends stuff or taped off radio. But was a big fan of faith no more for a stage. Angel dust was a great album too. Must give it a relisten

I remember seeing Dolly Parton covering this at Glastonbury and trying to claim it was about god!

Think again! This was pure crotch rock magic! Although Homebound Train is pretty good too.

Ah yeah used to love Utah saints. Not heard any of their stuff in a long while

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,241 ✭✭✭✭Electric Nitwit

That is a blast from the past!

Sure I liked them back in the day, not loving it now though...

Wow, they're still going too, according to wiki. Although their last single was 6yrs ago

It's catchy but when you think of the song they butchered for it, it's like making a decent burger out of a golden calf.

15th Place - Blue Suede - Hooked on a feeling

Classic film, has kinda ruined the song for me though

The start kinda grates on me now after seeing Reservoir Dogs so many times

    9th Place - Urge Overkill - Girl you'll be a woman soon

Great song - probably too familar

Another from a classic film but a great tune, would have scored higher but for over familiarity

Guessing the last two were from soundtrack albums, rather than the artist's albums?

I wonder how many entries were compilations (I know mine was too)

16th Place - Art of trance - Kaleidoscope

I didn't hate this but it did outstay its welcome

Good tune but at 8 minutes it just went on too long. I'm sure if I was in a tent at EP I'd love it

    17th Place - Marilyn Manson - Lunchbox

Won't be my cup of tea normally but actually liked this

Would have added to the OP that I don't like heavy metal but this wasn't too bad, although everything should be viewed in the light that its behind Boyzone
