Whoops. Forgot about the last round somehow. I would have got 3 of them so I'm gonna put myself on 20 points ;)

    Thanks for running this kitten

    Correct Answer:
    7

Would that not be 5 for the try, which would be any where along the try line and 2 for the converted goal, which has to be specifically through the goal posts?

Wait a second .... Bill Beaumont was a team captain on QoS too. Opposite Emlyn Hughes.

Think the try and conversion combined is 7 points, kitten.

That is correct but that wasn't the question

    Yes. That’s what I was thinking. A try isn’t a goal. A conversation is a goal.

I told you that I would school y'all. Suck it Syd!! :D

Redemption for NZ after last week. World Rugby (Quizz) Champion!!!!!

And to prove what a gracious winner I am, I'm not even going to complain about how I was robbed of a perfect score in the final round. I got question 1 right and question 4 is clearly xenophobic as recent immigrants to Ireland are never going to know that. But I won't complain. Even though I was robbed.

Sorry guys sticking with 7 as the answer for the time being as that is what I meant.

If people really want I can score both 7 and 2 correct but updated table will be later as I am heading out. It would make no difference to the winner.

    Who reads the questions???

I just realised I didn't read the answer. It should be 2 points for a conversion surely.

    Well done, yeah right.

And thanks Kitten_K. That was a bit of fun.

I might have hang around the quizz forum a bit more. You're not as angry and crazy as some (most) of the posters on the rugby forum :D

ya deserve it YR... it might take some of the pain for being a Blues / Kiwis fan this year :P

("converted goal" is some old time language, but is technically correct. its interesting that the original scoring was just by means of a 'conversion' after a try was scored... because the term 'try' meant you got a try at kicking the conversion.)

    thanks kitten !
that was good fun and like YR i might stick around for some more.. if anything they will be a return to school days :D
