Been thinking about going on holidays abroad recently, I am a social welfare reciepient on disability allowance and never travelled while on social welfare. What information will they be looking for and what documents will they ask for?

You can take two weeks a year, just inform them when your away, payment's will get paid when you get back. If your payment goes into the bank I wouldn't bother saying anything, just go on holiday

This is trivial with just the basic info and with no need for documents, tickets. This is what they ask https://www.welfare.ie/en/Pages/secure/HolidayApplication.aspx

You could use that but I've been told it doesn't provide confirmation so it's advised to do it in your local DSP office.
