Best plan?

Currently with Vodafone and have only ever had pay-as-you-go phone. Currently on the chat extra deal where you spend €20 a month for free calls and texts to any network and 1GB of data. Problem with this is, I find that the data runs out very quickly and I find myself topping up by another €20 after a fortnight or so.

I'm looking to upgrade phones so was wondering if there is any positives to bill pay with Vodafone or if any other networks have better deals. I'd be happy to stay with pay-as-you-go.

I saw a deal with Vodafone where you spend €30 a month for free calls and texts to any network but you get 6GB of free data which may suit me.

Thanks, that's a great summary. For me, it was a choice of either Vodafone X or Post mobile.

Am I right in thinking that with Post Mobile, there is a one off €20 fee for the SIM along with €20 for 31 days?

The three plan does, and I know on android, you can use your credit on the play store to buy apps and rent or buy movies too.

OP, I understand it's 3 weeks later, but if you haven't moved yet then Gomo should be a contender.

€9.99 a month for unlimited Calls, texts and Data (OK 80GB fair use, and throttles after that).
Personally I would never go bill pay. You may well get a lovely new iphone, etc but you will still be paying for it 2 years down the line.....after 3 newer models have been released.
I usually either buy sim-free (amazon.de are often great value for Name Brand phones) or when the likes of vodafone are offering a 1/2 price offer if you bring your number to them. Just get a free Lyca mobile Sim posted out and use that to verify a number. Just make sure that there are unlock codes available on Ebay before purchasing.
