Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I have one and up until recently I would have said it's great: great performance, good screen, expandable storage, headphone jack etc all for a great price.

But I haven't been able to use Google Pay since the last android update as Huawei devices aren't Google Play Protect Certified anymore. Since the Trump ban.

This might not be a problem for some people but it's a put off for me. Thinking of switching to the Pixel 3a

Did you mean Google pay or play? Considering getting this phone for other half for Xmas but if can't use Google play/download any apps won't get it.

The Huawei android issue has nothing to do with current Huawei phones released. They are not affected in anyway whatsoever. If you're having issues with Google pay that's a completely different problem.

Hi All, have a query for users of this phone. Purchased from Eir in January - they do not seem to sell it now anymore (from checking online today)

Yesterday I went to add a 2nd sim, as this is a dual sim phone. Put the other sim in the correct slot, however, there is no way in the settings of the phone to access the other sim installed and I have tried everything.

Does anyone else have this issue? I need a dual sim phone now, knew I would down the line and never actually checked at the time - one would just assume it was there as advertised!

    Replies appreciated, thanks all

Are you sure of the Model of phone you actually have? (second post with same question)

Are you sure it is a dual sim model?

Thanks for the reply. The settings would indicate it is not a dual sim, however there is space for a second sim on the tray (or a micro SD card), all the data for the model number online points to it being a dual sim also.

When I type *#06# to see the IMEI, only 1 displays however.

Would this be disabled by the manufacturer for some reason?
I can't see Eir performing this on their handsets.

Possibly disabled - Eir themselves may not have disabled it but the particular batch they bought may have had the feature disabled.

The tray would be the same for both.

    Single: - https://www.amazon.co.uk/Dewdrop-Display-Smartphone-Ultra-wide-Sim-Free-Blue/dp/B07Q83DWJ3

    Dual: - https://www.amazon.co.uk/Huawei-Lite-Dual-128GB-MAR-LX1A/dp/B07QC8WBHX

Eir probably sold you the single sim version and probably locked it to there network?

    Edit: -

    Eir single sim in specifications
    ^^^ Look under general

    That answers my question, thanks!
