Whoo-hoo! And knew the year because I'd read recently Bill Bryson's book "One Summer" about 1927 in America which mentioned its release.

Yeah, like all Bryson's it's very good. Recommended. It's mostly about Charles Lindberg and his flight across the Atlantic, and others in the flight race, but it delves in to a lot of other aspects about America that time too.
