And another garbage reply ... not one of you rebutted the point I made and that folks is because you can't.

What Mitt said was a nonsense, because to say "When the only American citizen President Trump singles out [for doing x] is his political opponent...." is to suggest that Trump had options in that regard..... that there were others who have done the very same thing Biden did .... and Trump choose not to call for investigations into them, just Biden. If that were true, then Mitt would have had a point, but it's not and so he doesn't.

All this: "Did Biden do this and that and the other thing, Pete, cause Trump did" is all baloney and again, in no way, shape or form, addresses the point which I made, which was..... that Trump only called for Biden to be investigated when speaking with the president of Ukraine, because Biden is the only one that boasted about committing a quid pro quo crime with a billion US dollars in the Ukraine. Trump would have been negligent if he did not raise the issue with Zelensky.

Not that I agree with everything he has said in his pressers, mind, but on that call, he did and said nothing wrong, it was.... you could say, perfect.
    another garbage reply.

The greater question is in 3 years has Trump ever been evidenced calling for a corruption investigation against any other American citizen that wasn’t a political opponent? If not, why? Or has corruption suddenly become so rare around the world that only Joe Biden is culpable?

None of your filibustering explains what crimes he even needed Ukraine to investigate: Ukraine says he nor his son were ever found to be violating Ukrainian law and the same for US counterparts, furthermore his action in Ukraine was supported by the GOP, IMF, EU, and State Department - So it’s not as if Trump somehow in any way needed an investigation into the matter. That’s like saying, now, that we should investigate Nixon for playing ping pong.

Trump wants a fishing expedition for 2020.

Live stream of Trump speaking at Young Black Leadership Summit, odd for a racist, but there you go.

Looking relaxed and getting on with things, in the face of such harassment is amazing, good for him.

Using that as defence is akin to a serial killer making the defence that they couldn't be one as they have friends who are still alive

That’s a bit like saying it’s odd for a sex crazed pedophile to join the priesthood.

Obama went to church and you people still called him a Muslim

Larry Kudlow, WH economy adviser, says Biden investigation won’t be “front and center” of China trade talks but refuses to promise it won’t be off the table

What more do conservatives need to shove off the president?

So why haven’t senate republicans or AG Barr launched an investigation into Biden then? Surely they would if they could? What’s stopping them?

2/10, you need to build up a higher post-count and come on less strong or the posts don't look credible.

    Trump Lies
President Trump’s proclivity for spouting exaggerated numbers, unwarranted boasts and outright falsehoods has continued at a remarkable pace. As of Aug. 5, his 928th day in office, he had made 12,019 false or misleading claims, according to the Fact Checker’s database that analyzes, categorizes and tracks every suspect statement the president has uttered.

90% of people defending are of the 'I could shoot someone on 5th Avenue and I'd get away with it' group at this stage. There is no logic to it.

Yeah LOL. It's really funny when one of the most important people in the world can't string two truthful sentences together.

He has done one good thing for the Republicans, he has made George W look smart.

There's a bit of a difference there. When Obama and Bush were president, there wasn't this cultish behaviour. If you look in the archives of this place, there was nothing like this unquestioning agreement with the leader that we see today.

It's actually quite bonkers, if you think about it.

Well, I think it can be explained by the quality of what Trump offers.
If there was any angle of merit or appreciation that was in any way reasonable, then that would be sufficient for 'supporters' to justify their position.

The absence of that means that they have to have unwavering loyalty because they couldn't admit to being uneasy about one element and yet tolerate everything else.

FWIW, I don't think many people are Trump 'fans' as much as they are anti-establishment/anti-liberal fans.

Same with the edition in Downing St at the moment, way more evidence exists that they are out of their depth, certain fans are as passionate as you could find in spite of all this because to face up to it, would mean admitting they are wrong.

Sanders had a heart attack, his campaign is effectively over.

Biden seems to be slipping a bit with his memory, his son's gilded career of directorships such as being made a senior Vice-president of MBNA, 2 years out of Law School, will bite him.

While there may be no corruption he rises because his father's job, not his, talented though he might be.

There are retired fortune 500 CEOs who don't have the directorships he had by his 30s.

    Warren will get it.

They messed up not choosing Sanders last time. Seems an admirable character.

If that bites him then Trumps appointments of his daughter, son in law etc into top positions should definitely be used against him

He is nearly 80 and just had a heart attack.

    "Healthier" is relative.

    Above 70 everything is relative

But with him being fully checked over having some blockages repaired he should definitely feel better physically
