Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Is anyone doing anything creative with your homescreen these days?

I'm very happy with my current homescreen.

    Launcher: Square Home
    Weather Widget: Overdrop
    Icons: Redox Icon Pack

The box with small icons on the left is a folder for games.
The box with small icons on the right is a folder for media apps (podcasts, radio, music, netflix etc.)

    Share your screens. :)

Sweet Jesus that's cluttered. No way would I be able for that.

Two screens for me with most used apps. And a separately scrollable dock with message, bank, email, internet and map apps on it.

Definitely like to keep a minimalistic, zen style homescreen.

MDI folder is ‘Miscellaneous Desktop Items’ – most used secondary apps are kept here.

Wallpaper is a live Huawei one which changes subtly during the day.

Very windows phone ish Mr E.

My minimalist screens, not a fan of clutter on the screen.

I'm more of a hidden minimalist - I like neat layouts but with defined folders... which are labled and also neat as they all have 9 apps each :P 1 page only!

    Launcher: Lawnchair Launcher v.2
Icon Pack: Circle UI - Link to Store
Phone: Google Pixel 2 XL (Android 10)

NOTE: Middle fingerprint icon goes to Google Pay, the middle icon of my dock is a folder of Google Camera / Photos - makes it easier to find.

Very minimal from me as well.

My home screen has a transparent folder in the bottom right corner, in which I have my most used apps. A simple pull up of the bottom reveals the usual phone, WhatsApp, contacts etc.

Edit: I love my transparent folder. I'll have one on my homescreen forever, I think.

I am the anti minimalist. I was android for years, took a 2 year stint with IOS and since coming back to android I like folders, so I have nearly everything on my homescreen in folders.

Using Evie launcher. Have 2 Hue widgets up top for easy access, pocketcast widget for easy access. Step counter widget and everything in folders. Works for me.

    Aghhhh!

Edit: I do have folders for everything, but they are in my app drawer where I don't need to see them until I need them.

Very minimalist home screen. No widgets, no status bar. The time on the top right is actually on a second additional screen to the main screen and shows when the screen is off. Can display notification info and toggles if set to do so. No navigation software keys as all controlled by swyping on the edges.

Nova Launcher - which I just recently returned to as the aesthetics have improved since I last used it.
Few folders on the bottom for essential and easy reach, browser and settings.

Theme is "ColorFully" available on LG fones via their smartworld app. Nice combo of dark purples and pinks.

    Simple enough.

Nothing too hectic, most used apps on the main home screen, widgets for the likes of Met Eireann and Google Keep on the secondary screen. Wallpaper courtesy of the Mittnorge Instagram page! Standard Sense launcher on HTC U11. I'd like to apply the Redox Icon Pack but it didn't seem to support Sense and I'm not too keen on Pixel or Nova launcher.
