Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Roof Valley Construction?

    Hello folks,

Ye have helped me before and I am cheeky enough to come back for another issue I have with my cottage renovation.

I am re roofing a little old cottage and have also put a tiny porch on the front. A frame roof on porch at 45 degrees backing into main roof at 40 degrees. Roof is built.
My question is about the valley. Do I construct the valley boards first, then felt roof? Or felt roof first, then nail on valley boards? I understand lead cannot rest on felt in valley?

    Any help really appreciated.
    Thanks a lot.

Valley boards first then membrane. Use a roll of dpc between the membrane and the lead to allow for movement.
