I said it two weeks ago when someone banged a ball across 6 yard box and keeper did similar and player was not given assist that they should . For all like that
But as long as they are consistent then fair enough......

They only remove assists when a cross/pass is deflected.

That was such a horrible moment watching Sterlings shot drop over the line. About 9 million captainers of Aguero and Stealing getting rewarded. This game would break your soul!!
