Fargo - Loved the second season. One of the best seasons of TV you'll see.

I expect it'll be well beaten though

Fargo for having a great balance of drama/action/comedy and for the accents

Love/Hate purely because there’s no bad seasons. Fargo is very hit and miss but still a good show.

    Love/Hate

This isnt a vote either way as i didnt really watch either, but i always thought it would be great if they did a love/hate spin off about hats called love hat.

    Happy hump day everyone.

Like both. But 'Love/Hate' was consistently the better show.

Love hate because of the way it captivated the country

Love hate for me. I watched an episode one night on tv, I had heard of it but never thought of watching it. Only 2 shows have hooked me in so quickly, this and TWD.

The most astonishing thing about Love/Hate is the fact it came from the shítstain on your underpants that is RTÉ.

  • Registered Users, Subscribers, Registered Users 2 Posts: 47,343 ✭✭✭✭Zaph

Love/Hate for being one of the very few RTE shows in the last few years that I didn't mind funding with my TV license.

Still can't believe they made it tbh. It's as good as a lot of the widely acclaimed US shows.

    Fargo,, great plot.

All eyes on Kursk. Slava Ukraini.

The Wonder Years was class and nostalgic and brilliant.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,729 ✭✭✭✭Tony EH

    'Chernobyl' hands down.

A serious look at the failings of bureaucracy and the devastating consequences of a nuclear meltdown that had more significant impact on me that the saccharine 'Wonder Years' ever did.

  • Registered Users, Subscribers, Registered Users 2 Posts: 47,343 ✭✭✭✭Zaph

Chernobyl, gripping stuff about an accident that really never should have happened. Plus the kid from TWY really got on my tits.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,465 ✭✭✭✭Kolido

I found Chernobyl overrated. I had watched many documentaries on the disaster, all have been better viewing.

    I will go with TWY

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,948 ✭✭✭De Bhál

The Wonder Years because Chernobyl knocked out It's alwayss Sunny in the last round and I'm still angry about that.

Quality show Chernobyl and I expect it will win easily

The wonder years. Well holy **** that brings me back.

Was that not a movie though?

Chernobyl. Absolutely gripping. Even knowing the outcome I was on the edge of my seat. As someone mentioned in the first round.. almost shouting at the tv for them to stop!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 35,024 ✭✭✭✭Baggly

Chernobyl was a fantastic piece of TV. Gripping and educational.

    It gets my vote.

Band of Brothers, the war movie Saving Private Ryan aspires to be.

The band of brothers - even merry berry would vote band of brothers here.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,729 ✭✭✭✭Tony EH

    'Band of Brothers'

Because even despite its shortcomings, it was more realistic than Bakeoff.

Great British bake off - I always hope someone drops their bake on the floor and sometimes it really does happen!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 35,024 ✭✭✭✭Baggly

Bake off has more cake in it.

    I vote bake off
