Chernobyl. Absolutely gripping. Even knowing the outcome I was on the edge of my seat. As someone mentioned in the first round.. almost shouting at the tv for them to stop!

Chernobyl was a fantastic piece of TV. Gripping and educational.

    It gets my vote.

The band of brothers - even merry berry would vote band of brothers here.

  • Registered Users Posts: 19,277 ✭✭✭✭Tony EH

    'Band of Brothers'

Because even despite its shortcomings, it was more realistic than Bakeoff.

Great British bake off - I always hope someone drops their bake on the floor and sometimes it really does happen!

  • Registered Users Posts: 35,024 ✭✭✭✭Baggly

Bake off has more cake in it.

    I vote bake off

Vote Band of Brothers - Some of the best material put to screen about WW2, for movies and tv

I'm certain Band of Brothers will win but my vote goes to GBBO. I love it. It's proper relaxing tv. It makes me want to bake lovely things! And it definitely makes me want eat lovely things! Plus when the final comes around you know Christmas isn't too far away!

Bake Off, because cake war is better then actual war.

The Great British Bakeoff - it is honest television and apart from the fat critic guy, who is an unbearable arsehole with the most loafable head on telly, it is actually quite an enjoyable watch and mildly educational.

Band of brothers - Everything about it is great, one of the best WW2 retellings Ive seen, series or movie.

Band of Brothers because I'm one of those freaks who doesn't really like dessert

Now there is a crossover I could watch, Have Mary Berry or whatever she is called cooking a Sponge cake while tanks shoot rounds at her.

Band Of Brothers because it was a great series that sucked me in and lead me to other shows like Generation Kill
