    Ah, "DS9" is very clear

Whereas "Dylan Moran" could easily have been a reference to Breaking Bad...

Next up we go back to the office again, and some more sci fi opposition

    The Office (UK)

    VS

    V (1984 series)

The Office - while the US version over took it in terms of quality, the original is one of her finest sitcoms to come out of the UK and stands up strongly against other classics. The jokes still hold up and the writing is top notch.

V (1984 series) - Enjoyed this show and dislike Ricky Gervais

I would have voted Columbo because Star Trek

The Office UK. I actually thought I was watching a documentary when I started. David Brent is just a brilliant character

V what a great 80s show. I would love to work along side Mike Donovan. Jane badler was a great villian also. Just so many great character for a ahort lived show.

The Office for being a great show, funny but also a little sad.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,885 ✭✭✭De Bhál

The Office - David Brent is a legend. Still makes me laugh out loud...and my parents wouldn't let me stay up to watch V

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,215 ✭✭✭khalessi

V because David Icke could be right and its a classic. How could you not forget the birth of the twins and the poor cute green alien baby with all the teeth being ignored. Also It gave us Rober Englund Freddie :)

V because I was never allowed to watch it as a kid. but I did I hid at the passage door.

I fear if I watch it now it will be crap

Oh I like both. But I think I would fav our V as it was must watch viewing when I was a kid. Everyone was talking about it.

I liked V, great show but THE OFFICE takes it, a show you had to watch from behind the couch, loved it

I loved the new V never seen the old one

The Office was groundbreaking. I still watch it now and then. I'm a huge stephen merchant and ricky gervais fanboy ever since.

Definitely not! The Office defined a new genre of comedy. It's been recreated in multiple different languages.
