    Sopranos

    As mentioned already, quality didn't drop off as it went on. I missed it when it first came on and binge watched it over a few weeks of night shift with a colleague and we were both hooked from the start

    Sopranos is utterly fantastic, but Simpsons classic episodes are so good that they make up for all the **** that came later, my favourite comedy by a big margin voting Simpsons

    The Sopranos because the Simpsons ruined their own legacy by milking the show for all it's worth. It stopped being funny after season 10, now it's on season 30. 10 years of excellence followed by 20 of utter muck.

    See if this was just The Simpson’s seasons 1-10 then it would win the entire thing because it’s untouchable.

    But if we are judging the entire run, I’m sorry but the difference in quality is too hard to ignore.

    DS9 was good, but not the best Star Trek, not even close.

    Father Ted is a perfect comedy.

    Father Ted gets my vote. I know the constant quoting it gets rubs people up the wrong way but it's just so damn quotable. It's great. Every character was great. The most random things were funny... What's your favourite humming sound? Why is that so funny?
