Missed the last few votes. Killing off the simpsons for the sopranos is heracy, especially because OZ didn’t make it past the first round. The sopranos finale was an utter joke, a joke of game of thrones proportions.

While I enjoy this game there’s too many people voting for a particular show just because they haven’t seen the show it’s up against.

So 1 hour of the sopranos was a shambles....compared to how many years of the simpsons?

If the simpsons had finished after season 10/11 they I would have it as a coin toss. But when they have been pumping out pure muck for nearly 20 seasons then I cannot understand how it is heresy. It is common sense

Yeah but there’s a lot more better seasons of the Simpson’s than there are of the sopranos total. I mean if you want to do it that way...

I totally get what you’re saying though, for a long long time Dexter was the best show on Telly before it descended into a steaming pile of horse shït. 4 perfect seasons developing characters and then an absolute embarrassment to writing followed. And for that, it deserves to burn.

The same could be said of The Walking Dead, although I was never a fan.

But I don't think it's quite the same as shows like Dexter and TWD going downhill. It's the fact the Simpsons went downhill and then just...kept...going! On a scale never seen before. There's jumping the shark and then theres the simpsons. They've long since squeezed it dry and it's overshadowing how amazing it once was. If TWD is still going in ten years I'll feel the same!

Ok, so controversial opinion incoming.

The newer episodes of the simpsons aren’t bad, they can still be very funny.

Are they up to the standards of the first decade, hell no.
