29-09-2019 7:36pmHi,
I'm on the market for a new 4k tv. The budget is around 500-650 euro. The desired size is 50" to 55". I'm not sure on specs, what are really important so I am open to suggestions.
I was going to get a Panasonic fx650 55" in arnotts for 700. But they were sold out.. Were they a good deal? Have you better sets for similar money. I know they were 2018 models, but that is OK with me.
I have a Sony bravia lcd that is great but 10 years old. So it's a good brand and I'm tempted to get similar again. It was a good model in its day.
There were some threads about adds on Samsungs, so I don't want adds on the tv..
Have you any recommendations or deals that might match my criteria please?
From what I have read, I'll stick to the big brands, panny or sony preferably.
What features, specs would you recommend that are good to have?
We have eir pvr, and a pioneer hdmi av receiver if that helps..
Looking forward to your suggestions..
Thanks and regards
Mark1

At the minute the for a Panasonic in a 55" around that budget there would only be the 55XG550 coming in at 519 Euro
https://euro.richersounds.ie/p-204243-panasonic-tx55gx550b-55-inch-4k-ultra-hd-hdr-smart-led-tv-freeview-play.aspx
However there is the 58GX800 (2019) priced at £799 Sterling... There is also a FLASH75 code running with this dropping it to £724 sterling.
The voucher can ONLY be used against the sterling price. (You could check what conversion rate you bank would give on the sterling).

If you stayed with a Sony there is the 55XG7003 which is priced at 740 Euro
https://euro.richersounds.ie/p-204081-sony-bravia-kd55xg7003bu-55-inch-4k-ultra-hd-hdr-smart-led-freeview-hd.aspx
LG have their 55UM7660 priced at 699 Euro

Hi
After doing some research, I'm thinking of a Sony android TV.
The XF9005 gets good reviews. I see that there is a deal on it at the moment. It is a 55 that I'm now thinking of..
What is your best price on it please?
Is there a 250 deal with extra equipment also?
If so how does that work?
Do you anticipate a black Friday deal also?
What similar models could you recommend also.
Thanks and regards

Let me know your thoughts.
The 55XF9005 is a fantastic television!
Currently priced at £949 and there is voucher RSTV125 against it dropping it to £824.00
I don't see a separate deal running with it for £250 off against other products?
If you have a link to this could you post it up and I can have a look?
Regarding Black Friday, we have no idea what will be featured unfortunately. We do not get told until the evening before the prices go live.
To be honest there really isnt too much to compare the Sony to at that price.
You would need to go up to the likes of the Samsung QLED the 55Q70R priced at £999 and there is voucher RSTV125 against it dropping it to £874
