Close account, can't get to the branch.

    Hi,

    I have a personal current account from my time living in Northern Ireland, I would like to close it without having to visit the branch (Derry).
    I found an online form but this only seems to cover ROI accounts/branches.

    Hi Bojill,

    Thanks for getting in touch with us here today.

    To close your NI account we would advise that you send a written instruction to your account holding branch with as much information as possible including your full name, contact details, account information and an active account for any remaining funds to be transferred to.
