Barcode scanning to WooCommerce link

A client has requested the ability to scan their product barcodes to update inventory. The products are their own custom ones with barcodes that they will generate.

I looked at a few apps on Apple Store. Barcode-X was quite promising and scanned reasonably okay. It can send an email with the bar codes scanned.

I would prefer that it contacted a web page (with the barcode as a parameter) after scanning but some sort of bulk push to a web page would be okay.

Any suggestions?

They go to Google Sheets which you could integrate with, or you could build your own add-on and use their API.


Alternatively consider building your own web page and purchase a PDA

They are very effective at scanning barcodes for web forms.

My initial experimenting with this was good.
I set up a Zap to POST new Google Sheets rows to a url. I'll write the code to read the data and update the stock levels.
