    Hi, when going for a planning permission does it have to be in both parties names, if only one of them is going for the mortgage. Thanks.

    Hi Househunter,

    Just coming back to you here on this. I have checked this out with our Mortgage Team.

    Planning permission does not need to be in either borrower name as it would apply to the property rather than the borrower. The planning permission name will not impact the mortgage application.
