    My contract says in the notice period required area, that to refer to staff handbook for details. At the time of signing, it stated the statutory minimum notice, which was 1 week in my case. Since then the handbook(which states it's not a contract itself) was revised to reflect a 3 week period required for my length of service. Has anyone had experience with this before? I wonder would it be ok to give 1 week when the time comes,as nothing is specifically stated on the contract except refer to handbook?
