Good Beginner Whey Protein?

    Hi guys

Like to think I get a good intake of protein from fish/chicken/eggs/Glenisk protein yoghurts but I’d like to supplement this as well with a couple of protein shakes a day for when I’m on the go/between meals/after work outs

I’m happy with my weight (6’2, 12.4 stone) but I’d like some gains on my biceps/triceps/shoulders, particularly on my arms

Work out for 35-45 mins a day 5 days a week, mostly weights, and get cardio going for runs

Again, something chocolatey would be awesome, mix it with unsweetened almond milk and a banana

    Any suggestions welcome :-)

Beginner budget of 40 quid or there abouts!

Bulk powders have a range of flavoured ones which are fairly decent.

Myprotein Impact whey, great product and cheap (compared to some others).

Another vote for MyProtein Impact Whey, but whichever is the best value of myprotein and bulk powders.

Myprotein have 40% off at the moment. Once you get your first order/ supply, keep an eye on offers which can be up to 50% (it was at 50% a few days ago), or free delivery on any order. Bigger packs are also better value...

Is this MyProtein available over the counter? :-)

Think they sell it in Bodyfirst. Probably a decent mark up on buying it online.

Yes, the BodyFirst stores in Dublin certainly used to stock, I'm not sure about now, but they have it on their website for €45 at the moment. I get mine from aobnutrition which has it for €37.99 (40% off) at the moment
