Looking to improve efficiency when working remotely. First step is to get off the laptop and on to a Docking station.

Current laptop, Lenovo Ideapad 710s, does not have a Docking Station directly applicable for it.

Only connections on it are USB and mini HDMI.

Few questions I need some help with:
1) Is there a decent Docking Station that takes mini HDMI - I can't seem to find one.
2) If I got an adapter from mini HDMI to HDMI and found a Docking Station that suited.. Is there any quality loss going through that type of adapter before Docking?
