Overseeing a team who averages scoring 1.5 goals per game.

Our goals conceded while not a disaster is not good. 18 in 15 games conceded.

    Ole isn’t a good manager...

If he outclasses pep today can he have a small bit of credit?

Today isn’t about outclassing Pep, it’s about a derby match where the three points are super vital to the ambitions of both sides. The three points will be decided on the pitch... obviously the managers have a good deal of influence but if United prove victorious it will be due primarily to the effort and application on the pitch...with the manager being due some credit of course yes.

Maguire is going to be torn to shreds in this match.

Sure but Roy Hodgson had 'outclassed' Pep and shouldn't be near the United job either.

And Roy is a very good manager up to a certain level and far better than Olé.

Not sure about Shaw starting. Looked far from his best in his two games since he came back.

I'm not arguing that his record to date is acceptable, I don't think anyone is. Rather, the time he should be given to turn that around.

Should have been 1-0 up, great move but James not having a finish, frustrating.

  • Unlucky there from James

    Well played from Fred...Cough Cough

    Unlucky there from James

He keeps it hard and low it’s 1-0... instead he boots it at their keeper chest height...

A couple of decent positions but again no ruthlessness in front of goal.

Cracking game this. End to end.

  • City Dominating
    Defense being tested here

Some good breaks from Utd however

  • FS Jesse, have to score

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 26,003 ✭✭✭✭Strumms

Scuffed by Lingard, if his boot goes through that it’s 1-0.

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,054 ✭✭✭wanderer100

Massive chance for Lingard !! Wish it was Rashford in his position there

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,136 ✭✭✭✭Rayne Wooney

    Good block there

    Almost certain goal

  • Since when did ur man from Boyzone sign for City

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,369 ✭✭✭Rossi IRL

Jesus Christ Luke offer the overlap

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,502 ✭✭✭Your Airbag

We should be one up. Creating good chances but need to take the next one.

  • Fred is having a great game

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,054 ✭✭✭wanderer100

We really need to take one of these chances

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 26,003 ✭✭✭✭Strumms

Given, definitely a peno, City muppets still arguing the toss, well done ref, cards out now.

What a match this is already, but I could barely have dreamed of this!!

Of course, still a very long way to go

Think we got lucky with the handball. I would have given it if I was in the VAR room.

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,369 ✭✭✭Rossi IRL

    Should be 3 up ffs

    Edit, make that 4

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 26,003 ✭✭✭✭Strumms

United should be 3-0 up minimum, more disappointing finishing from Rashford, the hero with the peno, but pure ugly with a couple of misses, that was a sitter

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,006 ✭✭✭beno619

Lingard doing well again, Liam O will be happy.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,136 ✭✭✭✭Rayne Wooney

City are on the ropes, very poorly set up against the counter

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 26,003 ✭✭✭✭Strumms

Rashford hits the bar, very unlucky there, should be 4-0 we are tearing them to shreads ffs, F I N I S H !!!!!

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,054 ✭✭✭wanderer100

    Ah Marcus

  • Administrators, Social & Fun Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 78,283 Admin ✭✭✭✭✭Beasty

Rashford continuing where he left off on Wednesday. Even the penalty looked a carbon copy

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,502 ✭✭✭Your Airbag

Team playing like when Ole first took over. Really need a second, before city draw level like spurs did.

  • Ah lads we are going to rue these misses
