This is the end of Ole. Dour, uninspiring and atrocious performance and attitude on display. What is the point of putting in a performance against Chelsea midweek in the Carabao and then just losing to a poor Bournemouth side at the weekend? Can't see Ole surviving a loss here.

The axe should have come down after the Newcastle game, he wont be sacked after 1 loss, 3 wins and a draw.

This is just our place now. We will put in "brave, battling" performances against the big teams and occasionally get a result but you can flip a coin against the likes of Bournemouth, Sheffield etc.

I hate this squad of players.

We'd be lucky to manage even that..

It's 8 months since we came from behind to win a competitive fixture (and we go behind a lot)......no way that stat will change today.

    Jesus thats shocking enough

It's 1 win in 6 in the league. That is sufficient particularly given the awful performance here today, whatever hope he had of using the non-Pl games as justification that Utd had turned a corner.

At least he didn't waste money on midfielders and attackers in the summer so the new manager can build.

Seems United are now what SAF complained about with Leeds back in the day, only turn up for games v the 'bigger' teams.

Ashley Young is our most attacking player it seems. Nice strategy that...

  • How long more can Ole be kept on at this stage

I've never ever seen a club be as incompetent as Utd are being in any league

One step forward, two steps back .

That’s Ole’s reign here at Utd so far

Too late to be making big changes. Should've been done at 60 mins if not half time.

Even with the sales theres about half this squad that just do nothing at all.....like Young as much as he get criticised can occasionally beat a man or make a great tackle (like that daft clip against Zaha earlier this year where yes he fell over BUT he still recovered and stopped Zaha in the end so I missed the joke tbh) Andreas, Fred and Lingard are generally just if we are lucky anonymous or unlucky very very bad......

I’m heading out picking up the leaves. Feel bad for telling my kids not to follow Liverpool. Now they have no interest watching the likes of these united players. Says it all really when pereira is replaced by lingaard. Sh*t for sh*t. These guys are stealing a living. Fans need to stop enabling them until thins change

Shouldn't stop him getting the ball in a 5050 (I thought he was closer so probably 60-40)

Now we just need Ole to tell us we were the better attacking team and should have won post game

    Completing the never ending circle

I'd say at this stage Fred is worse than Anderson, Kleberson and Possebon as United's Brazilian midfield contingent......thats actually impressive.

Edit. Christ I forgot Andreas is Brazilian he should slot somewhere in there aswell I guess...

If it's a 50-50 there's a 50% chance he won't get the ball. Slippy day aswell and ball in Bournmouth half. No point chancing a needless 2nd yellow.

Long ball after long ball. Worse on that front than it ever was under José. At least he had someone there to control them...

Don't forget the amount of control we had in non dangerous areas.

    No chance he'll be sacked.

In the last few weeks....came within 10 minutes of beating Liverpool.
Top of the Europe league group table.
And knocked Chelsea out of league cup at Stamford bridge.

This is just a very typical performance and result against an organised but limited mid-table team.
We can't break these teams down.....and we are so predictable they know how to prepare and beat us.

Fred has been out best player (not that it would be hard). Don't know what some of ye are watching tbh.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 18,216 ✭✭✭✭RobbingBandit

    Fred should have been subbed

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,454 ✭✭✭✭Liam O

    Fred should have been subbed

Not necessarily for any reason than having an extra player in an attacking position.

    The league form is atrocious
Any other club would have sacked him long ago
It's only this disaster of a club that continues to persist with failures

Did you ever see RK pull out of a tackle because he was on a yellow?

Roll your eyes all you want, you can't pull out of 50/50 because of a yellow.

One step forward and then two back unfortunately.

Just not good enough really and it’s to be expected with the state of our midfield really. Way too many average players. Just passengers.

We are a mid table team unfortunately.

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,054 ✭✭✭wanderer100

Horrible game to watch that. Sad thing is Ole has probably bought himself more time with that Liverpool and Chelsea result
