    Watching endgame right now and just fyi... When the portals appear, Cap shouts "Avengers Assemble", so technically everyone that came out of a portal is an avenger... Including Mantis... Just sayin

    Or maybe, like a good commander, he wants to organize his army in one place so as to have a word with them and not all the other rabble coming through the portal.


    Like, when you are on a school trip, and they have your class join a train with all the norms, and at the far end of the train ride, the teacher is there waiting saying, 'scoundrels assemble' waiting for the last of the scoundrels to get off the train and do a final head count before moving on.
