Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Joe Duffy and his co-writer should be donating the royalties from their book to a children’s charity/charities. It seems wrong to make money from such tragic events involving young children.

    History made 'Children of the Rising' somewhat abstract as no relatives subsequently existed. The events of this book are relatively recent and very raw for the families of those poor children. Praise for those families for telling their stories.

    But by jaysus, if Joe Duffy profits in any way from this then he really is a despicable person.

    Write a book on the something. Does not matter if no one buys it. Get 50k tax free. Drag it out fir a few years. Pay someone else or just get your name on the book. Even if its loss making as trasnport etc can all be for it 100k in the paw.
