iPad Air 3 - Safari Split View?

    Hi all,

I just unboxed my third gen iPad Air (2019) and promptly updated it to the new iPad iOS.

As I understand, the way to have split view in Safari where you can see two open tabs side by side, is to long-hold the tabs button on the top right and 'open split view', but I can't see this option at all?

Has this changed, or am I doing something wrong?

Multi-tasking is definitely enabled in settings.
Just wondering if perhaps they have changed the shortcut in the new update?

    Thanks!

You can pull another instance of Safari up from the dock into split view, and view different things in each one, if that’s any use to you.

Just drag the tab to the edge of the screen.
