Every architect these days say '' you can't do it yourself'' I love that he's going it himself in parts.

The garden is better than the house

Why the f*** don't RTE just show Chitty Chitty Bang Bang instead of attempting to make their own version at license payers expense? The plot is the same but the actors are lazy and tired and the acting is vile.

This whole show bugs me but I can't stop watching it.

Dermot is supposed to be a pro...but not being on top of budget or timeline delivery is really poor.

I can't understand how anyone hires this guy.

I wouldn't hire him to clean the house nevermind design one.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,648 ✭✭✭honeybear

I love the picture window from the inside but not the outside

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,151 ✭✭✭✭iamwhoiam

That big black window on the front is ghastly

Okay so the house is of course nice, it's contemporary and all. But I feel the open-plan is so unimaginative and forced and I can't for my life figure out the layout of the house. It's big and full of corners.
Many of the choices wouldn't be mine but for the money he spend he needs to be happy with it.

I'm underwhelmed by the editing of the format.

It's a beautiful job in all fairness.

My only issue is the garden...It's not as wild as I'd expected. I thought it would be full of shrubs and trees with less grass
