Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Whelan first. hendrick might have a goal in him.

Ask Ronnie Whelan to come down out of commentary. Probably still a much better goal threat than Henderick.

And Hendrick can't be any worse on commentary.

Because Collins isnt the issue, its the midfield! He cant do anything without a supply and neither will whoever else comes on for him.

Midfield is poor, but Collins is useless. He either fouls or gets fouled. Good off the bench but not good enough to lead the line.

    Even look at northern Ireland.
Would anyone say they have better players than ROI atm? I doubt it, but they seem to have a coherent plan

That’s exactly what I’m saying, they’ve basically found a way of making the most of what they have with. Perhaps it’s more there are still hangovers from such defencive managers the last decade. How many times have we heard panelist’s say some of our players are more comfortable on the ball at their clubs? You don’t play in the EPL it you are scared of the ball or can’t pass under a bit of pressure.

I feel sorry for the youngster. Really do. Midfield not getting the ball. Georgian 6foot3 at the back. So slow and lethargic. Muck.

In fairness mcgoldrick would most likely be playing if he was fit

Feel a bit for Connolly coming on having to make the best of the crumbs he'll get creatively.

I hate how the team moves in 'blocks' rather than together. Whelan alluded to Whelan 10 yards from centre halves, which is fine, but then the other midfielders are 20 yards ahead of him not giving great angle for passes.

If you were going to bring Connolly you would have done it 15 mins ago. Mindboggling tactics from Mick tonight

McClean runs the ball off the pitch part XVII.

The big hoofballs in won't be much good to him against those centrebacks

McClean has to be first name on the team. He is full of running. He would bleed his body for Ireland and he likes the IRA and stuff.

Egan and Coleman staring at each other and the Georgian nips in.

You know in the Simpsons when Homer's given the Denver Broncos, and one of them charges past unaware that the football has bounced off his helmet? That's kind of what McClean reminds me of sometimes.
