Ray looks like a garden gnome without the uniform, that's enough of RTÉ now...

you know I did laugh when I saw this the other week.

"FIVE female TV personalities tipped to take over Ray D’Arcy’s Saturday night slot"
    http://goss.ie/showbiz/five-female-tv-personalities-tipped-to-take-over-ray-darcys-saturday-night-slot-187295

I was listening to the radio show one day and when one of the usual feminist heads was whinging about "why aren't there more women presenters, why aren't there more women presenters", and Ray of course came back with a populist "Yeah, I agree, I'm always saying that to them in here".

Well Ray, you just got your wish

*evil laugh while petting my cat and turning around in my wheely chair"
Ray is better than any of them. Just my opinion.

    I’m very sad

Ray just said that, he says the oddest of things a lot of times

He's sad he can't appreciate the poetry because he's mathematically minded.

Just checking the names of the female contenders for Ray's show. Cant believe that f**king Gremlin Doireann Garrihy is in for this as well.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,444 ✭✭✭✭Skid X

Stuart Cable, the original Drummer from Stereophonics (RIP)

His Mother was called Mable Cable and there was a regular advice slot on a BBC Wales show called 'Mable Cable's Words Of Wisdom'

The best thing to come out of Cameroon since Roger Milla!

Don't get your hopes up, Mabel.

We're still waiting for that Marlon Brando film to be released.

We can’t afford to solve everyone’s problems. Cameroon is sweet eff all to do with us and their political issues aren’t our problem.

in this thread he doesnt even have to bother, take a look at the immigrant wahataboutery in this thread,
Its good that they are promoting a musical act that isnt incestuously connected to someone in RTE

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 4,415 ✭✭✭generalgerry

It's crazy though. I helped move a company in to a new building the other day. Software company, not one single Irish name on any of the boxes. The only Irish people I saw in the area were the druggies out on the pavement. I find it incredible that the Irish people think that it is normal to export their own kids, and bring in people from other countries for all the decent jobs.

I'm watching this in the background, original coverage of Kennedy being shot

Spoiler - It's not looking good for Johnny

Sadly, Boards is riddled with racists.

    Good for her.
She’s a good addition to our little country

What exactly has she contributed bar some singing? Course we are all racists for asking these lil details- just sit back and pick up the tab so Ray abd his ilk can feel all warm and fussy inside

No just a few people that ask a few awkward questions about migration. Call that racist all you like but it won’t shut down valid debate on the subject

Yeah, but when are RTE going to give proportional coverage to the Asylum Seekers who have already failed their Asylum appliaction and are adding nothing to us?

Only on Boards is not being a racist considered 'taking the moral high ground'.

I heard they were going tro put a Ray darcy Statue in O'Connell street. It was going to be a giant version of the star, which would measuer over 5 foot 8 inches tall.
