    Was being the operative word.

What are the chances of an MVG **** up tonight and he goes out ???

Would be really something and open it right up

    Aspinall has a great chance

No chance. MVG will likely win 5-0 or 5-1.

I reckon Aspinall will give him a game tomorrow night though.

Probably about the same as the chances of Wayne Mardle saying something insightful on commentary

Wouldn't put van Gerwen's name on the trophy just yet. It's been done plenty of times in the last few years only for eggs to be left on faces on certain occasions

He'll surely win tonight handy enough but from there on nothing will be easy.

Disgusted by Wright's performance this afternoon haha anytime I bet on the chap he is inconsistent and disappointing. Soon as I have his opponent, he can check out any 100+ he's given.

Price has some bulldog look about him

said he was a thousand times the player humphries was.

Huybrechts has an inflated ego, who has won nothing of note but acts like he was something special

Even when the likes of wade show their ego they have at least majors to their name, but kim has nothing and even in the game acted like he was superior,

Him not going for the bull to win the set, and luke hitting the 146 to win the set has me laughing and kim fell apart after that.

Lol Darius starts with a nice and steady 97 and 100 in last leg on throw, Mardle "no way that's enough" - Michael barely hits another treble then.

Always delighted to see him put in his place, I'm struggling to recall a more clueless and irritating commentator in my life - in any sport

Anyhow good man Darius, already surpassed many people's expectations. MVG is really starting matches poorly

Labanauskas playing solid so far takes a deserved 1-0 lead. MVG hasn’t really got going yet.

order of preference for the title

    Durrant
    Wright
    Aspinall
    Price
    MVG
    Labanauskas

but think it will be a Price MVG final

Labanauskas playing well in fairness to him, if he could pinch the second set it’d make things interesting

He needs to go off injured

Surprised that hasn’t happened to Mervyn King at some stage

Are they not allowed the physio to come on during the match?

    Beautiful 137 from MVG

Surprised with you picking Durrant, I’d like to see him or Aspinall win it, with a slight preference for Aspinall

    Simply unstoppable darts from mvg

I know its been said many times, but that Mardle would give you ire on your hole.

It's a pity we can't do like in the old GAA days - turn down the sound on the TV and turn up O'Muircheartaigh on the wireless.

I like Durrant, comes across as a decent guy.

My issue was always with others hyping him too much and using 3 bdo tin pot cups as an indicator that he was one of the best in the world.
He is a good player, consistent, but nowhere near the levels of MVG, Price ando on form etc.

I remember when bunting switched and one person said Bunting was one of the best 3 players in the world, just because he won Lakesh1te, lets not forget Kist and Webster won that tin pot as well.

Price is nowhere near the levels of MVG, look at how willie had him on the ropes, and think durrant is all round solid to give him a good game, and would like him to win, but think no one is stopping MVg, especially in the longer format where he could go to sleep for a couple of sets and suddenly wake up.

MVG after 3 awesome sets, goes in to sleep mode and allows Darius take the set on his 6th set dart.

Think its just a case of making the scoreline respectful, and only only delaying the inevitable

    Labanauskas pissed away that leg

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,714 ✭✭✭4Ad

From a possible 9 darter to losing the leg..ouch !!

  • Registered Users Posts: 21,349 ✭✭✭✭Mushy

From near 9 darter to losing the leg is awful

    Unwanted adrenaline rush :pac:

I reckon Aspinall will give MvG a game
