Price has been very poor, way below standard. He should have lost by now but is somehow only a set down!

That must be the third time price has dropped a dart? Nerves?

Has done it in at least both his last two matches, sometimes on multiple occasions in the one leg. It's a deliberate arsehole tactic.

I'd prefer Price to get through as he wont crumble mentally like Wright will.

Price is exactly what the sport needs. He creates needle, rivalry and isn't into being everyone's pal.

I say that as someone who has previously switched off matches involving him, such has been my dislike of his antics (i.e. celebrating 140s as if he's won the World Title).

How has wright not got a dart to the head yet

Wright seems very focused tonight which is serving him well - despite the poor finishing.

It's great to see. Less antics and spectacle.. More darts :)

90 average in a world semi final is abysmal.

People would be up in arms if this was at Lakeside.

Standard has been really poor this tournament. Very few good matches or performances.

Price looks absolutely raging. At this stage he's better off to just loosen up and have a bit of fun but a lot easier said than done admittedly.

He’s crumbling pretty badly tonight then.

I don’t mind him cheering every 3 darts if he wants. I agree the game needs passion and rivalry. It’s the invading people’s personal space I despise.

both players have missed 32 doubles each...which kills averages

Price need to use the break to settle down. Finished otherwise.

Wright is still close to a ton though.

Not sure how anyone can have an issue with Wright here?

He's taken on Gerwyn, head on, basically called him out on some of his antics early, like cheering 140s like he's achieved something, hit big finishes early when it mattered, got in his head, and has run with it.

Price's aggression after any decent throw is all about mind games, so if someone wants to risk taking it on, then fair fúcking play if he can win out.

For whatever reason, so far, Wright's fighting back seems to have affected him. He just hadn't got going.

Come on Peter. Put this away now! :)

Can’t say I Will be disappointed to see price lose. Can’t take to a fella that celebrates winning one leg so loudly

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,461 ✭✭✭Bob Harris

If Wright wins it here will we see a big celebration?

Game not over yet - anything is possible with Wright

IMO, Price will barely acknowledge him, possibly needle him, then Wright will.give it loads once he gets off the stage.

Well we know who the crowd is behind anyway!

Would be great if sky had an option where you could reduce/mute them though

You must not be watching it on sky. Because this is the best ever game of darts that has ever been played in the history of darts ever. On the planet. Ever.
