Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Touch screen glass is cracked. LCD isn't. They can apparently be separated.

I'm looking for a skilled repairer.

    Any recommendations?

This is the touch glass. Only a couple of €. Mine is cracked down at the bottom at the narrowest point under the home button.

Here's a video of what's involved. Phone has to be opened, battery and some connections undone, front panel with lcd removed. Then the touch glass is removed and replaced.

This is a video of the repair....the crucial bit happens at 7 mins in.

To be honest as someone that's in that line of business. Most places including ourselves would just replace the whole assembly. It's an incredibly difficult job and can be time consuming plus also a risk to damaging the display. If I'm not mistaken the display is OLED as well.
And to be honest I can't think of a crowd that would be good at it. If your with Vodafone try asking them how much to repair device. I've found they can do the Samsung/hauwei repairs cheaper sometimes.

    Thanks for the reply.

It comes down to economics. New glass is €10. New LCD is €200+ Handset probably isn't worth that.
