You are dead right. That's what the forum should be for and not for petty negative, derogatory remarks towards the players and the sport.

It’s fairly simple if Durrant hadn’t been “tainted” by being in the BDO, Just in Credulous wouldn’t have the same issues.

BDO bashing is some sort of comfort blanket :)

Fatpot is based on his nickname Jackpot because he is Fat

I called lakeside that because it is exactly that, and everyone I know who has stayed there will vouch for that.
and the standard of darts there is sh1te

and lastly Vermin price, is based not only on the way is sounds like Gerwyn, but applies to the scumbags past behavior, and I do not mean on the oche.

My argument has been consistent, be it Durrant, Smith, chizzy or White, they are not the best in the world if they constantly fail to win pdc majors.

If you choose to put a bdo spin on it for durrant go ahead, what is the excuse for the others. ?
Unless you are a winner, you are not best in the world, it is a simple thing to grasp.
Now if you dont agree with my opinion, that is ok, but your opinion does not take precedent.

You are another who replies to the poster than the post.

That said I not only predicted it, but at 5-5 said lewis would win a last leg decider on another forum I post on:D

I assume you understand the difference between “the best in the world” and “one of the best in the world”...but then again maybe I shouldn’t.

    I can reply to what/who I like

It’s my opinion and I’m not breaking any rules. Lol.

I was discussing how Sky have certain games in their primetime slot.

Looking at tonights line up, Wade and Lewis on paper was the closest match of the night and deserved top billing., and so it worked out

however sky and their favoritism chose to have MVG against White which looks like a no contest.
Price and webster looks like a foregone conclusion as well.

ando clear favorite obviously, and no one giving thorn a chance, but I think this will be a close game.

Thornton has improved a lot recently after some por years, got a decent record against Ando, and Ando has not being playing a lot of competitive darts

I think Ando will win, but it wont be a walkover as the bookies expect.

Will be a lot closer than this game on now for sure

the game I am looking forward to is Smith and Durrant.

Smith has beaten Durrant 4 times this year already, Durrant won one.
If Smith is the player some hype him to be he should beat Durrant, but we all know when the pressure is on in the big games Smith falls apart and gets petulant.

Be interesting to will he finally step up to the plate as they say.

As for Price and Ando, should it happen it will certainly create some drama, even though they have played since that incident with price winning.

typical white, you have to build up a lead so you can bottle it.

This guy has lost 9 quarter finals on tv, and never made a semi final.

    he is, leisure centre superhero.

but spots a camera and wilts.
As I mentioned earlier, the ranking system has a guy who is almost always rubbish on tv in white in the top ten
has smith who won nothing as the #3.

    It skews things.

Would love to see white win though, would make a more interesting competition

MVG making out it was only close cos he missed 21 doubles, and he should not miss that many.

The interviewer never mentioned that White missed more

doubles doubles doubles costing the thorn..

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 3,404 ✭✭✭Justin Credible Darts

    Cannot see anyone stopping MVG

Ando is nowhere near the player he was
Smith could match his scoring but lacks the bottle
Price cannot get the job done...17 consecutive defeats proves that
Durrants 86 average wont bother MVG
Lewis wont be left off like wade let him off.

I am sure someone will find fault with this post

Has White ever made even the semis of a televised tournament? They're always mentioning how great a floor player he is but he always seems to blow it on the big stage

Edit: I see it's been mentioned earlier that he hasn't

9 televised Quarter final in the PDC and lost them all.

He did reach the final of the last , and then revived News of the World back in 1997, when as a 27 year old lost to Phil Taylor, but was not televised live.

He won 3 Euro tour events, all streamed but not on regular tv.

When's the last time Durrant had an 86 average

    Last Monday!
86.38 in 5-0 win over Aspinall.

  • Moderators, Society & Culture Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 12,326 Mod ✭✭✭✭Kingp35

If Durrant averages 97 and hits 50% on his doubles like he did against Clemens then he has a good chance tonight. Smith will definitely outscore him so it will come down to finishing, especially the mid level finishes that Duzza will have to hit. I'm not a fan of Smith so hope Duzza does it.

Chizzy and Wright could be very close and hard the call, hopefully Chizzy wins through though.

His tournament average is 92 which would make it more likely he will be closer to that than 86

Also he has been below standard this tournament

Mvg got away with it last nite v white, countless missed chances by white.anderson won't miss chances like that, but then again Anderson hasn't produced he's A game in a very long time.

If Anderson plays like he did last nite then price will beat him tomorrow nite.

I wouldn't put my house on bullyboy beating durrant no way.
