Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Spirit and passion are not enough to beat the All Blacks. We had both married with quality play by players at the top of their game last year. 2019 has been a collapse on form. Sexton not kicking to touch a few moments ago is unforgivable. We just have looked lethargic all this year. Joe has failed to evolve our game. Now don't get me wrong he is a legend for what he's done for Ireland but 2019 has been painful to watch.

    Earls has been shocking

He has to cover qtr of the pitch because Henshaw and Ringrose are getting sucked into the center.

It's New Zealand's power and pace that is causing this. We needed them to have an off day. Unfortunately they are on form.

There's a long way to go in this game, but boy that's an awful start

That NZ hooker is a waif compared to most top-level forwards these days...

Agree. This talk of something up Schmidt's sleeve was absolute rubbish

Exactly the only things the players are at fault is for the blind faith. I feel sorry for them..

Luckily our assistant is the new coach...

It's the hope that gets you. However, today should come as no surprise we have been poor for a long time

Ireland look like a team who view that a pass before contact is a tactical revolution. Offering nothing. NZ are light-years ahead in their play.

    Just lethal from New Zealand.

AB look fresh and fit as Ireland take a hammering if they don't keep it up plus 65 mins onwards when team gets tired.

The Schmidt apologists should hang their heads in shame. We’re an embarrassment

Shocker by Sexton. He has literally thrown/kicked the game away.

No bottle job here. NZ just on a different planet to Ireland and they will walk this World Cup. Disappointing end for Joe and Rory Best.

Luckily this is not a thread where you only can say nice things. Can you seriously say the team are good. I would say something if we were playing well and losing but it is a crap show

No way I'll stay watching this as it's going... too painful.

Hopefully Farrells taking note as we need a total overhaul in our approach.

Christ, that was pathetic from Kearney

Who would have thought 6 years ago that Joe Schmidt would become possibly the poorest attack coach in international rugby

    Shocking stuff

Very true. The bottle job was against Japan.

I think this is mainly a bad Irish performance

NZ are playing superbly but we are still bad

Wonder how many more points Sexton is planning to give them today.

Everything 50/50 going NZ's way, which really isn't what you want.

We have no functioning backrow on the pitch

Over with 50 minutes to play. Ireland have no awnsers here and we dont look like we have a score in us. A whitewash in a quater final..
