Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Salah makes that team tick and they are lost without him

    Very quiet in here...

    Lol

That is almost Liverpoolesque defending there!!

Takes Rashford off and United immediately concede.

    Top tactician.

    What is Young doing?

Anyone who wasn't expecting a late Liverpool goal is mad.

Their record for it is ridiculous.

They are the greatest team to have ever played any sport in the history of sport, ever, in fairness.

Great thanks for that very good post.

    Keep it up.

    Lallana the forgotten man

Great thanks for that very good post.

    Keep it up.

    Will do, thanks

Don't think I've ever seen defending as bad as Young watching Lallana wander in at the back post to finish

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,630 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Nice Guy

Mane's been unusually quiet in this game. Wouldn't surprise me if he pops up with a late winner.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,191 ✭✭✭✭Shanotheslayer

Baffles me how Liverpool couldn't do this quick passing at the start of the game.

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,257 ✭✭✭The White Wolf

United blessed all game with that ref.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 52,404 ✭✭✭✭tayto lover

    Probably a fair result.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,630 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Nice Guy

Ends in a draw. Fair enough result.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,037 ✭✭✭✭niallo27

Poor result, drawing with the worst utd side in 50 years. Decent ref and liverpool would have won but it's old Trafford.

I can't remember the last time we played that badly so that could be a massive point in our title challenge.

It could also be a massive point for Utd in their relegation battle as well so massive points all round.

    Bollox liverpool the better side.

Despite the frustration over conceding that late goal I'm still happy with that result

Always a good point versus them when a young team like that

Poor Liverpool performance. Very poor referee. Inconsistent bookings. Fabinho booked where Young, Fred and Rojo made very similar fouls and were not booked.

    No complaints there..

Will take the point, wasn't too confident before but with better defending we could have had all 3 points. Liverpool not that great

Draw was about the best United could have hoped for. Huge point for them.

Points not good enough unfortunately like last year city will go there and smash them

Can't believe Liverpool didn't win that. The real winner today was the bookies as usual.

Game showed mane is nothing more than salah's sidekick, disappeared when he was supposed to be the star

They only woke up in the last ten minutes.

Even Carragher admitted there was a 'mental block'. In fairness I suppose going to the home of the team that knocked them off their perch carries with it a certain trauma.

Tight game. Would take any sort of win.

    1-1 draw

    Nailed it.

Happy enough with that to be honest. Still unbeaten and United showed enough to warrant Ole staying on a lot longer which I think is a good thing.

7mins to go, Liverpool dominating possession, 1-0 up trying to hang on and what does the football genius do? Bring on a striker. Who I don't think got a sniff of the ball. And then they concede. No sympathy

Liverpool were poor for 85 minutes, could have won it in the end but United did a good enough job on them overall.

Disagree, we're already 4 points up on last season's corresponding fixtures. We can afford a draw there today. At the moment anyway.

Utd wont put the same effort into the city game as liverpool. They rolled over last year

Only one team looked like Premier League Champions out there today.

We beat Man Utd 3-0 at home in 10/11.

Man Utd are poor but there are a good side defenisvely this year.

Good result considering how poor we were.

Disappointed not to get 3 points as a United fan. By far the better team.

Only one team have been PL Champions before, but not too many of the players to be honest.

I don't think either team looked great today. Poor game.
