Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Pulisic finishing the season so well.

That should be red. The player was fully off the ground flying into a challenge

Harsh on Kovacic considering he was pushed.

Grass seems to be holding up the ball a little and slowing it down.
Wonder did they water it beforehand.

They did, the sprinklers were on as the BBC went to air

This fake crowd is very annoying.

    Clearly off.

Shame that was offside as it was a hell of a finish. Correct call though.

And now an Arsenal pen. Booking for Azpilicueta for fouling Aubameyang.

Not nice seeing Arteta waving for a card on the sideline.

    No stopping that:eek:

Its worse seeing the ref waving the wrong colour

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 32,022 ✭✭✭✭~Rebel~

    Delighted for him!

Chelsea deserve that tbh. Been asleep since they scored.

Giroud literally shot by a sniper there.

There was cover there in fairness, couldn't give red

    That's debatable.

A manager waving for a card to be shown is bad form.

    Too embarrassed to continue on.

Azpiliceuta going off would be a big loss for Arsenal

A bit harsh. You should never be happy to see any player injured.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 40,061 ✭✭✭✭Harry Palmr

Why might Aubameyang be off? Just lack of Europe?

But you'd rather see players sent off undeservingly.

When Auba was fouled he was just about to shoot. Rudiger was not close enough to prevent it. So the foul 100% denied a goalscoring opportunity.

    Thems the facts.

Whats also a fact is that taking pleasure in an injury to a player is a scummy thing to do.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,397 ✭✭✭✭Turtyturd

Arsenal would be 2-1 up if that fell to anyone but Pepe.

Did they not get rid of the penalty/red card foul two years ago except for dangerous play?

If you concede a penalty as last man while making effort for the ball, no red card. If no effort to play ball, red card.

Good response by Arsenal to falling behind. Pepe's crosses from the right are causing problems. Think he should have taken the free instead of Lacazette. I feel the stronger bench of Chelsea may prove the difference in the second half. Kante surely coming on at some stage.

"That should be red. The player was fully off the ground flying into a challenge."

So you wanted Azpilicueta and who's the second Chelsea player you wanted sent off?

Must have been something in the Chelsea water, they never woke up after the water break. Their high defensive line is causing themselves all kinds of trouble, all Arsenal need is just simple balls over the top.

Only a year left on his contract, so just a question if they can agree terms, or cash in, rather than losing him on a free.

And as the fourth best African player in the world he probably thinks he should be playing at a higher level.
