Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

So I’m getting Vodafone Gigabit installed. Currently on Virgin Media.

I have a Lot of smart devices. Echos, smart bulbs, plugs, switches etc

When I get the Vodafone router can is just change the SSID and password to that which the VM Hub used and will everything just auto connect? Don’t fancy having to reset everything.

    Thanks

Thanks. I don’t suppose you guys know if I can remove the Vodafone router completely and use my Netgear Orbi instead or would I have to use bridge mode or access point setup?

You should be able to use the Orbi on it's own by setting a VLAN tag of 10 on the WAN interface. You will lose the phone service, if you have ordered it, by doing this.

That’s great. I won’t have a phone so no loss. I seen you comment on another thread about Vodafone gigabit. Have you had an ok experience with it? I’m hoping the orbi is better than the standard router.

No. I have the eir version, which is a different network but using the same technology, at 300Mb. I find it excellent.
