Great to see that the Senate has confirmed Sen.Ratcliffe as the next Director of National Intelligence, as if his work at helping expose the corrupt officials in the Obama administration is anything to go by, he will do an awesome job as DNI.

However, has to be said, Grenell has done an excellent job as acting DNI thus far, especially with regards to how he has ensured that the American public got to see just what Adam Schiff didn't want them to.

Some tweets of his from today pushing back against smears from democrats who ain't one bit happy that he is showing America (and the world) just what the objective of the Russia- Trump collusion investigation was all really about:

He enjoys the weakest confirmation vote to the position in its history. Passed along party lines. He will be a great political installation and I am sure he will do a great job for the Party that has spent 3 years gaslighting the right to spy on a presidential campaign, and other abuses of power.

More evidence coming out that investigation into whether Trump had colluded with Russia was politically motivated:
FBI official who worked with Mueller raised doubts about Russia investigation

An FBI official assigned to special counsel Robert Mueller’s office told federal investigators last week that he was critical of the investigation into allegations that the Trump campaign colluded with Russia to influence the 2016 election. FBI agent William Barnett said that the investigation had a "get Trump" attitude that moved it forward ...

Not only that but also more evidence now that it was the DNC / Hillary Clinton if anything had been colluding with Russians to influence the outcome of the 2016 election:

The FBI relied on a suspected Russian agent for its 2016 wiretaps

Four years into accusations about Russia-Trump collusion, we finally learn that Russia’s main conduit for disinformation may have been America’s FBI. Vladimir Putin must be howling with laughter.

Department of Justice Inspector General Michael Horowitz last year revealed that former spook Christopher Steele relied on one primary “subsource” for most of his accusations against the Trump campaign. This subsource was later identified as Ukrainian-born Igor Danchenko, who worked as a research analyst from 2005 to 2010 at the Brookings Institution in Washington. The latest disclosures show that Mr. Danchenko was the subject of an FBI counterintelligence investigation from 2009 to 2011, based on concerns he was a Russian agent and “a threat to national security.”

The FBI identified Mr. Danchenko as Mr. Steele’s source in December 2016, when senior bureau officials also became aware of the prior FBI investigation. The FBI’s realization that it was being fed potential Russian disinformation should have put an immediate halt to the Page probe, if not the entire collusion investigation.

Instead and incredibly, the FBI failed to disclose this information to the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court in all three of its subsequent renewal applications against Mr. Page. U.S. Attorney John Durham first brought the Danchenko information to Attorney General Bill Barr’s attention and said its public release would not interfere with his investigation.

All of this underscores that the great scandal of 2016 wasn’t Russian collusion. It was the unleashing of America’s premier law enforcement agency against a presidential campaign based on Russian disinformation midwifed and financed by the Clinton campaign. The public is finally getting the truth about the FBI’s malfeasance, and Messrs. Barr and Durham deserve credit for exposing it.

Interesting declassification given what Hillary was saying to the media in the run up to the 2016 election:

Barr says nothing coming out before the election and Donald isn't a bit pleased with that at all at all. Id say they've got nothing and the report will be released some time next year and nobody will notice.

Durham probe focused on FBI, but prosecution of high-level officials like Comey 'unlikely': sources
Sources told Fox News that Durham completed the CIA portion of his investigation last year and has shifted his focus to activities of the FBI

Where is Pete?

"The special counsel probing the origins of the investigation into ties between the 2016 Trump campaign and Russia has brought false-statement charges against a Washington-based foreign policy researcher and Russian emigre who was a key source for an intelligence dossier that played an important role in the early stages of the FBI inquiry.

Information from Danchenko was a central element of a series of reports from a former British spy, Christopher Steele, that the Democratic National Committee and Hillary Clinton’s campaign commissioned to detail alleged ties between Donald Trump and Russia.

The indictment also alleges that he was working closely with at least one individual close to Clinton’s presidential campaign and that Danchenko falsely denied having contact with that person."

Politico

Danchenko has now been arrested by the FBI and indicted on 5 counts.

TLDR;

The 2016 Hilary Clinton campaign along with the DNC were working closely with Danchenko and he made up a story about Trump and Russia(that Russia had something on Trump). He was the source of the of the Russia probe and the Steele dossier, something which Durham finds is completely fabricated. He was also paid handsomely to do so, by the DNC and Clinton campaign.
