    Hi folks,

I built my own PC with a little advice from this very forum a few years back and now my graphics card has given up the ghost.

I'm running an Ubuntu OS and had a few problems with my graphics card back then so any advice on what to replace it with would be appreciated.

    My setup:
MOBO: Gigabyte GA-B150M-D2V Intel B150 So.1151 Dual Channel DDR4 mATX Retail

    CPU: Intel Core i5 6500 4x 3.20GHz So.1151 BOX

    RAM: 16GB G.Skill Value DDR4-2133 DIMM CL15 Dual Kit

    PSU: 500 Watts Enermax MaxPro Non-Modular 80+

VIDEO CARD (broken): 4GB PowerColor Radeon R9 380 PCS + Active PCIe 3.0 x16 (Retail)

    Thank you.

Dunno about Linux gaming, but that PSU needs to be binned ASAP.

I've had it 3 years and not one problem with it.

It's only got a 3 year warranty on it, and it's a cheap 80 White PSU.
IMHO if you're upgrading, upgrade the PSU too.
    A Seasonic M12II Evo 520W is only €57, 80+ Bronze and has 5-year warranty.

As for what to replace the GPU with?
    Depends entirely on your budget.
    RX 570 4Gb is around €100 used, RX 580 8Gb is around €160-190.
    Get Sapphire models.
