Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Changing Mazda 3 for more comfort

    Hi,

I have a Mazda 3 2011 which has been great fun to drive.. except really taking a toll on lower back, despite various supports etc. I am looking to spend about 12k and will be doing mainly weekend motorway driving. I looked at a C4 Cactus (Marmite I know!) and am considering a Volvo V40. Want something that's really comfortable and reliable but not totally dull. Not worried about room in the back or boot particularly and will prob hang on to it for a few years. Thanks in advance for any ideas- open to SUV/non-SUV.

The general rule of thumb is that the bigger car the better suspension it has. I'd be looking at the Volvo S60/V60 than the V40. Just avoid anything with stiffer sports suspension or large alloy wheels for comfort.
